The Big Potato Puppetry!
Our Procession of the Species Endangered Species Parade
This is an interactive puppet experience which demonstrates the importance of protecting endangered animals while leading children to join in a puppet parade.
Along with the parade, we provide a musical garden tent where children can play drums and percussion instruments with our cast members.
If you would like to invite us to your event, simply email: mail@thebigpotatofoundation.org!
Otis the Tooting Otter!
Our creative director, David ‘Wavy Davy’ Jordan, known for countless television puppet and prop creations, has created a character who is quickly becoming a mascot for Apopka! Otis the Tooting Otter is The Big Potato’s Ambassador of Nature, and works to teach adults and children alike about the value of appreciating nature, building relationships in the community, and learning all sorts of things in a really fun way! Having surfaced to the deck at Wekiva Island before making his way over to The Big Potato, Otis shares his whimsy as an onscreen personality and MC for live events! See our Big Potato Channel on YouTube for Otis content!
